Build To-do List
This page displays the build team's objectives by date and priority. The schedule should be effectively met unless serious complications arise.
Current Project
- Cut slots in the wood of the secound tier for the gearboxes.
- Drill holes in the secound tier for the wires.
- Cut pillars to support the secound tier.
- Find/build the 2 other gearboxes.
- Assemble lower tier.
- Assemble upper tier.
- Double check electronics.
- Hand over to Ankur.
Next Project
Once the 4-omniwheel chassis is built, the Build team will start construction on a 4-wheel tank drive. Each of the four wheels will be powered, and two chains will link the motors.
- Draft concept
- Includes attaching two front motors to the robot, whether there will be gearboxes or not, and how the chain will be regulated.
- Adapt 2007 chassis to new design.
- Check electronics.
- Attach motors and link them with the gears.
- Test robot.
- Hand robot to Ankur.
Meeting Times
The current time-frame requires meeting every day from June 5th to The end of the school year!!.
Materials Needed
- Metal Pillars for construction of 2nd tier.
- Chassis metal from 2008 robot
Subgroup Integration
Will require Developers to program the chassis. Might require creative use of joysticks.
