Team Organization
The Saints Robotics Team is currently headed by President Hugo Ribeiro and Vice-President Mary Pimenova. To keep momentum through subsequent years, Saints Robotics has created a sustainable system of management: during any given year, the team will have a Senior Vice President and Junior Vice President as trainees to replace the President and Vice President when they graduate from Interlake. Saints Robotics has foregone elections in favor of a system where leadership and officer positions are assigned by the current President. This eliminates the need for students to campaign (and creating animosity between friends as they cannot run against each other), sidesteps politically-apathetic members, and ensures that only the most dedicated and qualified members keep Saints Robotics running as best it can.

Aleksey, David, Hugo and Mary-our leadership team-at the competition last year
We believe in the democratic system, and if there is a conflict that cannot be resolved in membership with talks, the rest of the club is encouraged to put their ideas forward and to vote, if that is required to solve the problem. All members are encouraged to put forth their best suggestions for everything and all appointed officers must listen to them. This system of clearly structured leadership encourages a "big-brother big-sister" family atmosphere so that all members feel welcome.
Saints Robotics is subdivided into four large groups: Build/Hardware, Website/Software, Graphic/Design and Public Relations. The build team, headed by the Chief Engineering Officer, is in charge of constructing and wiring the robot. The Website/Software team, headed by the Chief Developer works on keeping this site current and updated as well as programming the robot and controllers. The Graphic/Design team is directed by the Chief Graphics Officer and is devoted to media production such as photos and videos as well as 2D and 3D animations. The last group is headed by the Chief Public Relations Officer is responsible for creating seeking out sponsors, community outreach and communication.
