Our Mentors

This page is dedicated to the wonderful teachers, parents, and other adults that are integral to our success.

James Cooney -- Faculty Advisor, Main Contact

Mr. Cooney is an AP/IB teacher who has taught math, computer science, and epistemology classes at Interlake High School. His presence alone allows the team to meet regularly, while acting primarily as a communication channel.

Helvecio Ribeiro -- Official Mentor, Parent Volunteer

Mr. Ribeiro has been with the team since his son joined Saints Robotics in 2006. He has expertise in electronics, but has also been very active in helping the team with designing, prototyping, and building the robot.

Tim Moore -- Official Mentor, Parent Volunteer

Mr. Moore is the parent of a Saints Robotics member. He has expertise in electrical circuitry, but mostly aids the programming division with robot control.

Aisha Ayoub -- Official Mentor

Ms. Ayoub is the newest mentor of Saints Robotics. She has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and looks forward to working with the team on building a competitive and well-built robot.
